中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平近日對深化東西部協作和定點幫扶工作作出重要指示指出，開展東西部協作和定點幫扶，是黨中央著眼推動區域協調發展、促進共同富裕作出的重大決策。
President Xi Jinping said that conducting collaboration and paired assistance between the eastern and western regions is a major decision made by the CPC Central Committee to promote coordinated regional development and common prosperity. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks in his recent instruction on the work related to the collaboration and paired assistance between the eastern and western regions of the country.

【知識點】
2016年，中共中央辦公廳、國務院辦公廳印發《關于進一步加強東西部扶貧協作工作的指導意見》，提出東西部扶貧協作和對口支援，是推動區域協調發展、協同發展、共同發展的大戰略，是加強區域合作、優化產業布局、拓展對內對外開放新空間的大布局，是打贏脫貧攻堅戰、實現先富幫后富、最終實現共同富裕目標的大舉措。
近年來，隨著東西部協作和定點幫扶工作的深化，區域之間的產業合作、資源互補、勞務對接、人才交流等不斷加強，為進一步鞏固拓展脫貧攻堅成果、全面推進鄉村振興提供了有力支撐。
進入新發展階段，要抓緊推進東西部協作結對關系調整，確保幫扶工作和干部隊伍平穩過渡。要加快探索協作幫扶方式，著力鞏固拓展脫貧攻堅成果，推進產業轉移，強化市場合作，提升社會事業發展水平，促進區域協調發展。中央單位要繼續做好干部選派、資金支持、產業就業幫扶等工作，支持定點幫扶縣加快發展。
