突破英語口語練習：醫生，博士都叫doctor，外國人都是怎么區分的？

說到doctor，問題就來了，doctor既可以表示“醫生”，也可以表示“博士”。那么到底應該如何區分這兩層含義呢？
 
doctor的兩層含義如何區分？
doctor的第一層含義是指接受過專業訓練、可以給他人治病的人，也就是“醫生”。
You should see a doctor about that cough.
你應該找醫生去看看咳嗽。
doctor的第二層含義指的是獲得大學最高學歷的人，也就是“博士”。
She got the doctor's degree.
她得到了博士學位。
大家還記得漫威電影《奇異博士》嗎？這里奇異博士就是Doctor Strange，也是同樣的含義。

那么究竟要如何區分兩個意思呢？
首先，要通過語境來區分，如果稱一個人為Doctor Wang，那么在醫院就表示“王醫生”，而在學校里就表示“王博士”。
She chose to become a doctor to save other's life.
她選擇成為醫生，拯救他人的生命。
（這里看語境是拯救他人，那么就是醫生的意思啦）
其次，還要注意的一點是，如果你想表達“某人是一個醫生”時，可以說Someone is a doctor.
但想表達“某人是個博士”時，則要說Someone has a doctor's degree.
