久仰大名。

I get mind of you.是一句非常地道的寒暄語，見到比較有名氣的人或者自己比較崇拜的人時，中國人常說：“久仰大名”，如果直接說"I heard a lot about you."就不如這一句來的地道了。因此，當美國人說"I get mind of you."時，他/她要表達的意思就是:"I've heard so much about you."、"I've been looking forward to meeting you."。
