511　“be glad+不定式”和“be glad+that從句”是否相同

　某些表示情感的形容詞，后面既可以跟不定式，也可以跟that從句。如果前后的主語為同一人，用不定式結構或that從句結構都可以，往往可以相互轉換；如果前后的主語不是同一人，就要用that從句。

　初中英語中應掌握的這種用法的形容詞主要有：glad （高興的），happy （高興的），afraid （恐怕，害怕），sorry （難過的，抱歉的），pleased （高興的），surprised （吃驚的）。

I am glad to see you back. 我很高興看見你回來 。（主語為同一人，相當于：I am glad that I see you back.）

I am glad that you are back. 你回來了我很高興 。（主語不是同一人 ）

We are happy to meet you here. 在這里遇見你我們很高興 。

We are happy that we meet you here.

We are happy that you have passed the exam. 你通過了考試，我們很高興 。（不可改用不定式結構 ）

I am sorry to trouble you. 很抱歉打擾你 。

I am sorry that you have to leave. 你不得不離去我很難過 。

I am surprised that there are so many people in the shop. 商店里有這么多人我感到很吃驚 。

轉化為 ：I am surprised to see so many people in the shop.

I felt surprised that you said that. 你說了那個，我感到很驚訝 。

轉化為 ：I felt surprised to hear that you said that.
